Suzanne
Stolzberg, owner and director of Yogaspira Studios, was first introduced
to yoga in the basement of her childhood home, by Sybil Meyer, her mom’s
yoga teacher. She also followed her mom to a few yoga classes at Kripalu,
in the Berkshire Mountains (where she grew up), but the stillness was
strange, and the silence unnerving. Suzanne preferred to dance, and continued
to pursue her dream of becoming a classical ballet dancer. Some 20 years
later she wandered into an ashram nestled discreetly into the grid of
New York City’s Upper West Side, where she met Tahji, a brilliant
yogi and dancer. A connection was made, and Suzanne´s yoga practice
began to flow. |
